Calligraphy classes with Stefanie

Survey about online calligraphy classes – win a calligraphy set!

I am planning an online class! As a thank you for particpitating in my online survey about what type of classes are most popular, I am giving away a calligraphy set. It contains everything you need to get started in learning pointed pen calligraphy. In detail:

  • My Copperplate workbooks I and II, each has about 35 pages. There is a lot of space for practice. The text is German, but the explanations are very visual and I can provide you with a translation if need be!
  • 1 Rhodia pad, A4, with 80 pages
  • Grid sheets for Copperplate
  • 1 Wooden oblique pen holder with a metal flange
  • 1 Marbled wooden pen holder (straight)
  • Selection of different pointed nibs (some of them rarer vintage nibs) in an original antique cardboard box
  • 1 brush (for applying gouache etc.)
  • 1 wooden barbecue stick for mixing
  • 1 plastic pipette
  • 4 Dinky Dips in a wooden base
  • 30 ml walnut ink
  • 1 jar of Dr. Martin's Bleed Proof White (30 ml)

    Workshop or private lesson?

I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm for calligraphy. You'll find lots of helpful hints for writing and designing on my Instagram feed, my blog and from time to time on Periscope {Stefanie @Federflug}. If you would like to learn pointed pen calligraphy in a more structured and focused way, I'd like to meet you at one of my workshops or in a private lesson!

I like to use oblique pen holders to write Copperplate and Spencerian.

Not every ink or color is suited for writing with a dip nib – I'll demonstrate in detail how to use which kind of color. You'll also be able to try out everything!

I am looking forward to seeing you!
